WHO’S WHO: THE ARTISTS
CRAIG ANTHONY BANNISTER (Giles Corey)
Craig Anthony Bannister is originally from Harlem, NY, currently
resides in Brooklyn. Has been working as an actor/dancer/director/
across the tri-state area and beyond for over 3 decades. The sampling
of the stages and places include: 13th St. Repertory, Joyce Soho,
Jacobs Pillow, LaMama, Castillo Theatre, Wild Project, The Metropolitan
Playhouse and Amphibian Stage. Also works as a performer/activist,
using theatre to bring diverse communities together, including seniors and teens and police
of昀椀cers and inner city youth; and as Executive/Artistic Director, Spectrum Arts Productions,
Inc., an arts service group. Currently NY Production Manager, Only Make Believe, a NY/DC
based children's theatre, that specializes in performing interactive shows with children in
hospitals, special education schools and care facilities. Thank you Phoenix/Firebird for this

JESSICA CRANDALL (Ann Putnam/Judge Hathorne)
Jessica Crandall is a singer and actress based in NYC, and is proud to
be a Resident Artist of Phoenix Theatre Ensemble! Her singing has
been called “exquisite” and “extraordinary” (Inside Press), her acting
“radiant” and “luminous” (theaterscene). Jessica was nominated for
an Innovative Theatre Award (Outstanding Featured Actress) for her
performance as Cassandra in Agamemnon at La MaMa. Projects with
Phoenix include playing Miss Prism in The Importance of Being Earnest and the Fortune Teller in The Skin of Our Teeth, and starring in The Domino Heart, which received an extended
run. Other favorite roles include Alma in the Tennessee Williams play Summer and Smoke
for VOICETheatre; Rose of Sharon in The Grapes of Wrath at Trinity Rep; Antigone in Burial
at Thebes at La MaMa; and Isabella in Measure for Measure at the Warehouse Theatre in
SC, where she was a company member for two years. Jessica has an MFA in acting from
Brown/Trinity Rep.
SONJA DIGHE (Production Stage Manager)
Sonja Dighe is a theatre producer and administrator for award-winning shows, including
Edinburgh Horror Festival’s Best Musical Ghosted! A New Musical at the Edinburgh Fringe
Festival (TheSpaceUK, 2025) as Executive Producer, AIMs nominated Carrie: The Musical
with the Trinity Musical Theatre Society (O’Reilly Theatre, 2024) as Production Manager,
The Lightning Thief Musical (Trinity Halls, 2023) as Costume Designer and is a co-founder
